Our courses are designed for students to progress one at a time, from 1 to 60 in math and 1 to 50 in reading and comprehension. There are times a teacher or parent may want to allow their students access to advanced levels beyond the levels of completion. Parents who have purchased “home” courses can call 800-998-8864 or email a request to info@learningupgrade.com. Teachers with school accounts can follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to your Learning Upgrade Teacher Account and click on “Teacher Menu”

Step 2: Click on “Edit” next to the student you would like to progress. Change the number in the “Level” field to match the students needs.

Step 3: Click “Update”

Feature 1: Teachers have been asking us for a way to print the Student Monitor page straight from Learning Upgrade. There is a new print icon at the bottom left hand corner of the page which allows you to do this.

Feature 2: The second new feature allows teachers to set a time parameter and view which students have been working on their courses within the set filter. Click on the yellow arrows next to “Recent” to increase or decrease the amount of days you would like your filter to contain. In this example we use 14. When you look at the student courses in the Student Monitor, you will see purple arrows to indicate which levels have been completed within the days you have selected.

This is a commonly asked question from teachers looking to keep tabs on students as they are working on Learning Upgrade courses.

Step 1: Log in to your Learning Upgrade Teacher Account and click on “Teacher Menu”

Step 2: Click on the link for “Student Monitor” and wait for the class roster to load. Your page will show a display like the image below.

Note 1: All rectangles following a students name indicate the grade they scored on each level. Bronze for >75%, Silver for >90% and gold for >95%. A red rectangle means the score was <75% and the student did not progress.

Note 2: A green triangle at the top of a rectangle means that the course was attempted today.

Note 3: You can filter the student monitor by course, level, name, and certificate achievement.

Note 4: If a student has completed all levels for a course, a certificate image will appear in the row of their name. Click on this image to print the certificate.

In the ‘Pilot Information’ box write “summer school offer”, then specify how many students will be using Learning Upgrade, and the nature of your program. Upon receipt, we will send all codes and information to the email associated with the request.

*note: For U.S. schools who have not purchased or piloted Learning Upgrade courses in the past. Subject to Approval by Learning Upgrade.

1. Add Student Course: To add one student at a time, click the “Add Student Course” link in the Teacher Menu. You will see the display below. First, select the course you want, then add the student license code, students name, grade level, language, and needs. Once you have finished entering the student course information, click on ‘Add Student’, and the student will be enrolled in your class.

2. Add Multiple Students: To add multiple students to your class at once, click on “Add Multiple Students” in the Teachers Menu. You will see the display below. In the left hand column under “Student Names (0)” you can type or paste the names of your students. This can be easily done from a student list spreadsheet or any other document where you can copy their names. Verify that the number in parentheses matches that of the number of students entered.

Once you have added the students names in the left hand column, click the down arrow in the “Course (0)” field. You can select any and all courses to enroll your students. The final step is to add the student add code to the “License Code” box and designate a grade level. Click “Enroll” and all of the students and courses will be added to your class.
